Default New carbon cannister required

I am looking for a new or good condition carbon cannister (cannot find a part number) for a 2001 XK8 on the passenger side (although it looks as though it both cannister are the same?). When the car was smoke tested there was a small leak coming from the bottom edge of the carbon cannister so I have a PO445 Evap emission light up on the dash. Any help will be much appreciated.

I recommend you contact Dan at Nalley Jaguar and he'll be able to help you. Here is a link to Gaudin Jaguar (Jaguar Porsche Las Vegas?), both Nalley Jag and JPLV are forum sponsors, and I've personally spread the wealth amongst my parts needs between them and Motorcars Ltd. Unfortunately, the Gaudin interactive site shows two different sets of carbon canisters so not sure which one is which. A live person would be best to make sure you get the right one.

Lets hope after splurging on the canister, you don't end up with a purge valve failure, which is what most of us EVAP code receiving owner experienced.

Thanks Matt, the local Jag dealer here in orlando has already fitted a new pipe breather (NJC6107EA-974) a hose (NJC6068CA-307) and a cannister close valve (LJC1525AC-982). Hopefully by fitting a new carbon cannister I can get ride of the orange warning light, which drives me crazy!!

Sounds like that is the only thing left to replace

Did I mention Dan at Nalley offers free shipping and 15% off for jaguarforum members?

THE CROSSOVER PIPES ALSO RUST THROUGH AND WHICH CANNISTER, THERE ARE 2 DRIVER AND PASSENGER. AND iVE NEVER SEEN 1 REPLACED IN 13 YEARS FOR CRACKING OTHER THAN BEING HIT WITH ROAD DEBRIS. IF ITS CRACKED, CLEAN WELL AND RUN A BEAD OF PLATIC EPOXY ALONG THE SEAMS TO SEAL. THEN WHEN IT KEEPS COMING ON YOU CAN TRY THE NEXT THING. I HATE EVAP LEAKS THEY CAN BE TOUGH ESPECIALLY THE SMALL LEAKS. THE LARGE ARE USEALLY PRETTY EASY
