new help. dont kniw what to check next
All of a sudden I get performance restriction and missing. OBD SAYS, Random miss fire. Have replaced all plugs, all 8 coils, and fuel filter,air filter, still has runs ruff. And says random miss fire. Where do l go now. HELP! 1999xk8 100,000 miles. Never any trouble till now.

That's been costly round of troubleshooting.
Post the actual codes for advice on possible causes. Some code readers can give misleading results and generic DTC lookups are often different to the Jaguar code descriptions.

Hi,
Sounds like it could be a tensioner issue. If it is, you could destroy your engine without replaceing them.
simple to check, remove cam covers, see if you have plastic or metal tensioners and check timming.
plenty of threads on this issue on the forum.
