Smile New Member: Photos of my new P/Joy

Dear Fellow XK8/R members; quite new to the forum and thought I'd post a photo of my recently purchased XK8, 1998. It's immaculate, finished in Aquamarine, with a Teal interior, again immaculate. I've now just received and fitted my private registration plate, which seems to make an already drop dead gorgeous car look even more exclusive.

Anyhow, enough of my dribble, click to see larger photo below.

Welcome Joe! I had never heard of Aquamarine before, but after a google search, it appears that was a factory color in 1997...I learn something every day.

Default Interior Shots

Hi All,
As suggested, some interior photos of my CAT As you can see, the interior is almost perfect, with almost no cracked leather and the headliner, front pillar's and rear parcel shelf has been recovered in Alcantara, Mint green and looks amazing . I have ordered some more to re-cover all four speaker panels. As you can see, I have upgraded the gear knob and now talking to a local 'Leather Doctor' about painting this in the teal colour.

Enjoy Guys

Joe

That has to be a one off car, or darn close. Never seen any XK that color, inside or out.

Hi Johns427,
It has 108,000 miles on the clock, but has been very cared for and as a result is immaculate. As you may probably know, it doesn't take long to get the picture when inspecting a vehicle to work out the good from the bad and ugly.

Nice to be here guys and thanks again to all who have made me welcome

Regards

XKJoe

Have to be the one to bring up the OTHER stuff. Do you know the main history of the car?
