Default New Painted Hub

I thought I would share with everyone, my newly painted hubs on my 2001 XKR Coupe. I purchased the car in Oct. 2008 and have been very pleased with the appearance except for the severe rust on all hubs. I plan on showing the car this fall in two Jaguar events and wanted to have the hubs repainted to a the original metal color. I have a painter on the island that has repaired my bonnet on my 1966 XKE. He removed the wheels and hub, then bead blasted the rust off, sealed the hubs with an epoxy primer and a grey metal color paint. Pictures of the before and after are below.

stremsjg, I like the look. I just went through my car and did all 4 hubs too. not a hard project other than having to rip the brake system off of the car. But, it makes a world of a difference in the appearance. Granted, I stuck with flat black. I like making the undercarriage parts "disappear". But, to each their own.
