Default New to the site -question on adding trans fluid

I have a 97 XK8, where do I add the fluid??

Welcome to the forum.

In the future posts your questions in the XK8/XKR section.

The fluid must be pumped into a port on the side of the transmission following this procedure:

See http://www.jagrepair.com/images/Auto...s%20manual.pdf pages 3-5.

An inexpensive manual fluid transfer pump will do, must you must follow the procedure and do it at the correct temperature and with the correct fluid.

There is a great how-to video for the later (2003 onwards) ZF 6HP26 gearbox by Rev Sam.

Not sure how applicable it is to the earlier model 5 speed model.
