Default New tensioner woes

Hi All,
From an earlier post today I learned that I purchased the wrong supercharger belt (thank you for the replies Avos and Brutal)
I went my local jag dealer and asked for a new S/C belt to which they brought me a single side ribbed belt I told them the belt should be ribbed on both sides and they found the correct one.
This evening I installed the new S/C belt with new tensioner and pulley and a new accessory belt along with tensioner and pulley
Both belts feel like they are too long, the accessory belt has around one inch deflection either way and the super charger belt I can take off the pulley without de-tensioning the tensioner.
As the S/C belt is easier to change I put the original belt back on and it was the same, extra loose. As I only changed bearings in the idler pulley (thanks Sean B) that leads me to believe the tensions are wrong or need adjustment?
Do new tensioners have an adjustment to make them tighter to the belt as well as looser? I could not see any way to tension the belts more. I have never changed a tensioner before so I have nothing base a fix on.
I have checked and double checked and both belts are routed correctly according to JTIS
Scratching my head here and need some help.
Thanks,
Karl
