I just had my old and ratty top replaced with a new Robbins top, the car looks so much better, and newer. Including the price of the top and labor, total was $1250. I had estimates as high as $4100 and everywhere in between. Very happy!

Anyone replaced their own top? I did one on my 06 Miata which was a PIA but doable, wonder what's involved in the XK8 top? I might want to change mine as I'm not crazy about the dark green top I have.

 

That is indeed a great price. I would give it an annual treatment of 303 to prolong its lifespan. Keep us posted on how the new top holds up for you....

 

Steve where did you get the top fitted? I live in Orlando with a 2001 XK8 convertible with a beige top.
