Default Newer Newer Nav Systems - Could one be fitted to older XK's?

So, since many of us have 00's, 01's, 02's, etc. and are having trouble getting upgraded discs, is it possible to fit the newer Jag Nav systems, or even an aftermarket system to the display in our older XK's?

Anyway to modify the current dash layout (decently, so it looks nice) to accomodate a larger screen and system, say like the Pioneer Nav Systems?

Anybody ever tried this in their XK?

In this case and this car, replacing the nav system may hurt the value of the car, at least in my opinion. It is integrated into the dash, is an odd size for replacement, tied into the stereo for voice commands, and as easy as it is to 'screw' something up on this car, I wouldn't take the chance. It occurred to me at one time to explore it, but not farther than that. Too risky for this gambler...

Sent you a PM as well.

no.. newer jag nav systems run off D2B ring fiber optics which older cars don't have .. i guess you cud install a newer aftermarket nav.. and customize the wood veneer abit..anything is possible
