Well...the party is over...for approximately five months.

We've had four days of snow...which means salt on the roads.

It rained hard for a few days so I bought some Sta-Bil and filled the tank at a station a few miles away.....then drove around for forty minutes!!

I decided to leave the cars outside tonight as there was more rain in the forecast and I figured I'd let the car drip any road gunk priot to bringing it inside.

Well, it's a frigging monsoon tonight!!! The car will be spotless tomorrow. Hook it up to the battery tender and putz with it all winter.

4,500 miles this year, I'll try and double that next year.

 

My 2000 XK8 is now assigned to garage queen status until next spring as well. Haven't had any snow yet but I think that's about to change later this week. You did better than me, I don't think I broke 1k miles this year.

 

I have to travel from my base in Syracuse to Buffalo and Albany on a biweekly basis and Rochester/Ithaca and points in between.

Nice days I rip down the NYS Thruway at whatever speed Wayz says I can go to give it the old Italian tune up.

I did have it out a few weeks ago in really cruddy rainy foggy weather and just loved the looks I was getting from folks wondering why the heck the car was out...in November.

That's why I love a coupe!
