Hi guys. I'm new to the fourm and would like some help before I call the tow truck! My new to me xk8 2001 died and wont start, or even sputter after 1000 miles of perfect running. Im not a great diagnostician, but determined that I wasnt getting fuel. I jumped right to the fuel pump, and replaced it. Wow what a welcome to the xk8 repair. I bench tested the old fuel pump and to my dismay, it ran fine. I finished the tank reinstall, and didnt hear the new fuel pump run. The car still wont start. I checked the schrader valve, and while turning it over, there is no pressure at all. Any suggestions at to where to look next? Any help would be apprecieated. I really dont want to surrender yet.
