Default NO Low Beam or Leveling on RH side only

Hi gang... opinions wanted on a HID headlight issue on my '06. RH light exhibits the following (even after changing the bulbs) No low beam at all and the leveling motor is not responding to the fob. The High beam and side light are fine. The LH has no issues whatsoever. I need to check fuses for sure.

Thanks in advance!

Jeph,
Whoo Horse! The Low Beam is the outside Bulb. Is that the one we're talking about? It is an HID Bulb, #D1S and is powered by a Ballast. The Ballast needs to be replaced...along with the Bulbs on both sides as the XK8 is getting older....You need to use the same brand and Model number Ballast as it not only controls the HID Bulb but they also control the leveling mechanism...So be sure to replace them both with new one's! They cost a bunch but will last for a long time....Replace the bulbs with new D1S LED Bulbs that are 6000 Lumens (Pure White) and you will be set for many years of care free Night-Time driving! The Outside Lights are your Driving Lights (Low Beams) !
Before you do this repair, Read-up on replacing your High Beams, which are Halogen Bulbs.....You can replace them with LED Bulbs and increase the Brightness of your High Beams by a great deal....Go to one of the Headlight Companies that advertise on the internet and study-up on this replacement (Halogen to LED)! You need to buy a Replacement LED Bulb whose Light-Source is the same length from the connection base as the Halogen Bulb...that will prevent the Reflected Light from scattering off the Reflector and gives you stronger Bright Beams!.
These modifications will cost you $600.or $800.00 but you will be extremely happy with it if you drive much at Night! Try it, You'll like it!
