Seriously you come and do the work you can use the car for your trip.

She doesn't actually speak Italian, just French and Spanish, but then she doesn't need to because all of the Italian men fall at her feet...no kidding....she gets much better service when I am not around.

I would suggest a trip to see the Castles in the Loire Valley if you haven't been, down to Bordeaux and Biarritz, or only about three hours at the speed limit (who does that?) to Milan from here, then Bern is only about 1.5 hours you really do have to follow the speed limit there....too many cameras....that is if you don't have an English plated car like I do...run it past the boss.

JJ,

Only 12 months more freedom with English plates in mainland Europe:

EU approves cross-border driving fines from 2013 - The Connexion

I plan to enjoy it whilst I can because the Gendarmerie already take an unneccessary interest in my XK8.............or maybe it's just my wallet!

I think all members should pledge to withhold technical support from jamjax until he posts pictures of his Italian supermodel wife.

I actually do have an Italian supermodel GF, she was an Armani model. Not once do I spout about her in virtually every post, she has a Politics degree from Milan uni, speaks german, french, english and italian of course, and is learning russian. If you google Armani sunglasses you'll see who I live with.

I don't feel the need to go on about her, I don't need to. This is the first mention I've made. Makes me think you're either full of bull or insecure, maybe both. it's funny, but either put up or shut up Jamjax.

Sean;

Sounds like you have a good one too.....but you have to lay down your cards face up when you call a bet.

It is concievable that something else in the rear of the car shorted an input to the BPM during the service and blew one of these fuses.
I checked the fuses and they both are fine. So back to square one. Are there any wires around the top of the gas tank that can cause this? That was the last work done on the car (replace fuel pump).

Kal

p.s. await the latest super model betting on this post!

Actually, when a player calls, the other player has to show his cards. The player who called then has the option of either showing or mucking. If he mucks, then obviously he loses the hand, but if he shows and his hand beats the other players hand, then he wins.

I like to play poker, too.

By the way... I enjoy JJ's comments about his Italian supermodel wife. Even if she's not a supermodel, it shows that he thinks of her that way. I think I'll start referring to my wife as my Irish supermodel wife.

Thanks Rev., sounds like you have a good one too.

I am pretty sure that when you are called in Poker you have to match the bet, if you haven't done that you have to show your cards first or fold....

It's true about my wife and I am just happy she is still drop dead gorgeous after 22 years together.

New Mexico boys have to stick together, cause otherwise everyone thinks we are from 'Mexico'.

Funny you mention the Irish connection for your wife because there was a 'death bed' confession from one of my wife's grand mothers that she had an affair with an Irishman....but then she recovered.

I always say those Irish boys get around....just ask Shaq O'Neil.

Rev. when did you change your signature pic to include the Lucky Photo line about the bird, after I asked about it?

Whitey;

Don't get me going about Top Cycle 'alert dings', I still want two 'dings' to signal that the rear windows are fully up.

Triple G;

Given how efficient the EU is so far at getting member countries to toe the line I will take my chances with the UK plates for the foreseeable future or drive with the sun visor down all the time for the cameras.

cheers,

jj

I can make the car play 'Ave Maria' when all the windows go up if you want to pay me at my hourly consulting rate.

Whitey;

Ah so you have figured it out....

"I can make the car play 'Ave Maria' when all the windows go up if you want to pay me at my hourly consulting rate. "-WhiteXKR

That is my audition piece so that would be fine.....

I'll happily pay the same rate you're charging for all of your advice on this forum?

Is it worth it?

cheers,

jj

I really can't figure out how to do the quotes everyone else does....

For most of my mods I have either posted what I have done to my own car, or have done on request because there was a lot of interest. I am not feeling the demand on this one.

You can press the 'quote' button on the lower right of a post to autoquote it when you post.

Lots of people have asked about it. When you asked that just finally motivated me to clarify things.

Thats worth buying a Convertible just to hear that,,,, (being a Coupe Lover)

Then I would have to have "I CAN'T DRIVE 55" when I put it in Sport Mode...
