Default No windshield (windscreen) washers

Did not work since I bought the car, have been putting off tracing the cause. I could hear the motor running, but only a tiny drop out of the driver's wiper. Tracing the lines back found this check valve, broken off on the passenger side, but even then, nothing was getting through it. To test, pulled it off and sure enough, the input line produced fluid. Temp fix using an elbow fitting from yard misting lines. I found this one on Ebay but states it is for Volvo, will it work? Other sources? Thank you!

If you are getting fluid as far as the wiper arm, that's good news.

The three silicone rubber duckbill nozzles seem to get gummed up after a while. This can reduce the spray, misdirect it or even stop it altogether.

I've had success cleaning these with an aerosol can of compressed air as sold for cleaning computer keyboards.

Disconnect the feed pipe where it joins the jet assembly (arrowed in red). Insert the delivery tube of the aerosol and blow the jets clear.

Thats a good tip Graham, will try that as I noticed a pretty poor water dispersal from my wipers last time I used them.
