any access to live engine management data...fuel trims, mass air flow, fuel pressure? Have you tried any fuel additives like BG-44K through the system? Does it knock/ping when you're at that rpm range?

Default XKR 4.2 stalls

Hi there,

I have the same problem as described here - stalling/rough idle/hard to start - but with the difference that with 12V directly hooked up and continously running, the problem disappears.
New filter, new pump modulator, 2003 4.2 XKR
Any ideas?

Default Correct Order

Hi Chaps,

The car is surging during power delivery. Max, do you have the old one you could take apart to confirm orientation of the spring?

No problem man. I'd be happy to help. I still have the old pump assembly on my shelf in my shop. I just refamiliarized myself with the entire assembly so I'm ready to talk with you about it. I just sent you a private message with my phone number. Give me a call. By the way, I remember the little parts laying in the bottom of my tank just like we see in your pictures.... That's not something I'm looking forward to ever seeing again!
