I replaced the Idler pulley the redesigned model. It is double lipped instead of single. Soon after replacement, serpentine belt shredded. This could have been my fault, as I didn't have the correct socket to pull tensioner to install idler pulley and swag'ed it with a metal bar against the belt. However, Ive seen references to updated Tensioner, Idler Pulley, Belt. Seem to relate to Super Charged models.

Question, by adding the updated double lipped idler pulley...am I mismatched with old style tensioner?

New to the Jag world...any advise greatly appreciated.
