One day the washers wouldn't work. Ho hum, bought a second hand pump and fitted it and it didn't work. Fuse ok. One terminal ran the pump but the second did not. I flashed it a couple of times with a jumper wire and then it struggled into life at first very sluggishly before spinning up to full power. Refitted and problem solved. I then did the same thing to the pump I had removed and exactly the same thing happened. Now I have a spare.
