Hello, going about replacing both upstream O2 sensors after getting P1646 and P1647 codes.
I ordered these which were said to be compatible and look identical, but upon removing the old ones I noticed that the model numbers don't match. Will they still work? I'm hoping one is just an internal code for the same thing.
I know there were several different sensors used across the range, but not sure if they can be distinguished between purely by physical appearance. Old one on the left (Denso 192400-3100 03U26), new one on the right (Denso Q-E608)
Found another thread that says Denso 192400-3100 is the same part as Denso 234-9016. Denso 234-9016 appears on this site, stating that its the correct sensor.
Replacement of the upper was the 192400 on mine, to my surprise as until I saw it when it came out, I had never heard of it as a replacement. I found it for under a hundred dollars and the 9016 goes from 170 to 300, so someone is getting rich by playing with numbers.
