Default oil in elbow and supercharger

I took the supercharger out of my 01 XKR to replace it. When I get it out the insides rotors case etc are coated in oil as is the elbow, the outlet and the bypass valve.

I am pretty sure this is motor oil as it is not smelly like the supercharger oil and there was a lot of oil in the supercharger snout so there isn't much that could have leaked out.

I think the oil came through the part load breather because there was none upstream in the throttle body.

Is this normal? If not what does it indicate?

It’s normal to have some oil there even for a good working engine, just check your oil consumption as that will tell more.
