Looks like a Motorcraft FL 2008. But, check it out.

Stickies at front of this forum indicate FL2021 is cross referenced from OEM #. Not sure of the
previous number shown.

On and off the subject RockAuto had Fram TG filters for $1.32 each on close out for the 4.2 I bought 2 cases of 12. But this was almost a month ago.

Default Motorcraft oil filter

What a dolt (me, not you)!! I thought about rockauto but never checked. I confirmed that FL2021 is the correct filter, bought one on eBay for $10, then after you mentioned rockauto I went there, found a whole mess of filters for less money, plus found a Motorola filter for half of what I paid on eBay!!!!! That will teach me!!!!Thanks for the tip!!! I'm also looking for the cooling level indicator that mounts in the overflow tank and found a complete tank for the price of the indicator. Guess I'll get my head on straight and go back to rockauto to look for parts. Thanks!!!

I saw that overflow tank at RockAuto myself and grabbed one. Complete tank, sensor and cap for less than a sensor at other places.

The overflow tank ? To tell the truth, it's sitting on my bench. But I changed the one on my old XJ8 and it's pretty much the same - sensor connector and sensor on the bottom, one large hose on the bottom and two at the top, with a couple of torx screws and locating pins. Hoses and clamps are always the biggest PITA.
