Default One large thank to Gus.

Earlier this week I sent a private message to Gus. It was not long after my message he was contacting me with two bulletins that were directed to helping me. I followed both of them to a Tee. Long story short the Throttle Body had to be replaced. I took it in to the local Jag shop and had the work done. They had it out and ready to go by the end of the work day yesterday. I took it out for a long drive last night and had no codes or issues with the throttle body. Crossing fingers as I head out for a another drive today.

Thank you again Gus.

Glad you got it taken care of. I second your appreciation of Gus. He has always been most helpful and accurate with help. It is people like him, that make this the best of Car Forums, let alone the Jag Forumns.

+1 to all this

When I was having some "issues" installing my pressure relief valve, Gus was on the phone every time I needed help.

Gus is a true bonus.

Thank you for everything!!

Jack

that's gus, always ready to help out...and he's got an extensive library of project repairs and technical documents. I've got a mental list the members who are i feel 'experts' in certain areas of the jaguar machine...gus takes two subjects - convertible top system, and throttle body.

Welcome to the forum; and thank you for the courtesy of acknowledging the fine assistance Gus is always there to provide. He and his website have helped untold scores of Jaguar enthusiasts for many years. Speaking of Gus......

GUS! You Ok out there?? Did you have your snorkel handy this weekend?? Did you or the kitty's get too wet? Let us know how you made out with Irene.

Cheers,

Gus and I have had our differences, but there is no doubt that he is incredibly valuable to the forum. He goes out of his way to help people resolve their problems.
