I have actually looked at every page of our "show us your pictures" thread.

Now I know we all love our Cats, but.........

Doesn't a single one of us have a "Babe" to pose with our car. Coming up on 60 as I am, I'll have to use my daughters, but c'mon guys....

Don't any of you younger guys have a hot girlfriend, trophy wife or Putin approved mistress? I may have to "HIRE" some cute young thing to pose just so I can liven up the thread. (lol)

There is an old thread in general interest that shows some fine cars and ladies, but my favorites are from forum member P-rock (do a search). He is a professional photographer with an exceptional friend/model that is featured in his sig line.

First off I mean no disrespect by any of this.

That said I don't understand the need to connect young scantily clad women and cars. It isn't just this website but it is throughout the auto enthusiast media. Magazines, TV, internet just about everything about cars and particularly hot rods or DIY there is a sexist overtone to it.

I don't get it. I understand and appreciate the female form as much as anyone and as a former sailor I am fine with nudity, ****, prostitution and much worse but a car mag, car website or car show is not where I would go for that. I also think the overt sexism throughout the auto enthusiast crowd is a big turnoff to women car enthusiasts.

The 60YO OP mentioned usng a photo of his daughters ... well frankly I would just as soon see a photo of his 60 YO wife, girlfriend or neighbor with a cat. If I want a picture of a pretty young girl (with or without clothes) there are plenty of other websites available for that.

I don't want to offend anyone, this is something that has been bothering me for a while and this thread touched a nerve. I don't mean any disrespect to the OP or anyone else.

 

No offense taken Auburn. The thing about my daughters was really a joke, to tell the truth I think they'd get a kick out of it. Might do it anyway.

It's all just fun. We all own one of the sexiest cars on the road. The association is just obvious. Sexist? Sure it is! But I think there's plenty of wiggle room before fun crosses the line to ugly or offensive.

Let's face it. As are probably more than a few of us, I'm not nearly Steve McQueen or Sean Connery when it comes to looks (not even close! - lol). But I'd take no offense if the gals here posted photos as such, because it made owning their cars a bit more fun.

Good to have other Navy Types in here too.

I think the problem may not be that no one here has a "babe" to pose with their Jaguar but that there is no where on this site to post the pictures!

That is, I've got many photo with both of these elements but since the Girls on Jaguars thread specified that models in the pictures were supposed to be clothed that really leaves me with no where to post them!

 

You could always digitally alter the risky parts. Go ahead and post them that way.
