owners manual
Does someone have any pdf files of the owners manual for a 99 xk8? If someone had it I would greatly appreciate it. I'm trying to pull some fuses and when I purchased my car none of the manuals were in it. If someone has it, it would be great to get the owners manual and vehicle care handbook. thank you

The Jaguar Technical Information System on CD was the official factory/dealer documentation until they went on-line in '03. It is available for free on this forum. While I got it to work on VISTA others have had a problem. It is reported not to work on Windows 7. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ead.php?t=9933
There is not a paper/.pdf version that I am aware of.
A link to the JaguarUSA web site which has an on-line version of the manuals is in the FAQ sticky above. The fuse charts are not in the owners manual. That is more detail than a Jaguar owner has a need to know. Reprint manuals and an occasional original copy are on ebay.
The fuse charts are also available in the FAQ sticky.

Jaguar has traditionally made the fusebox locations along with fuse rating, device protected and relay location as part of the owner's handbook set. In the OPs circa MY, this information is located in the Vehicle Care Handbook, part of the owner's handbook kit. In later MYs the fuse charts moved over to the Owner's Handbook, but the owner gets this info right in their glovebox.
As stated, these complete sets can be had easily online in PDF, or in original hardcopy on Ebay.

They should hold you over until you can get a set of hard copy manuals.

After much internet searching, I found that there are XK8 Owners Manuals and Car Care Manuals available for free download from the Jaguar.com website for years 2000 thru 2006. 2002 XK Owners Manual PDF file created from Jaguar Topix website
Hi
I noticed that some of the XK forum members were looking for the Owner manual. One of the members was requesting 1999 manual. The 2002 manual is the closest year available on Topix for this manual.
I downloaded all 9 sections of the PDF files on the Jaguar Topix website for 2002 XK Owner Manual (all 128 pages).
I created a new PDF file that I uploaded to my mediafire.com account.
Here is the weblink to the PDF file:

Hope someone still has a need for it.

I am new to the Forum,and wanted to say Hello and Thank You. I have searched for ever to find a Owner's Manual that I could download for free for my 2000 XJ8. Within the first half hour on the Forum, I had the pdf file and printed the whole manual.

Then model selection - use first line dropdown and select your model (X100/XK series), then use second line dropdown and select your model year (2002), then click on the find button.

On the next screen (Select a document) there are 2 documents available for this Jaguar (the XK Vehicle Care Handbook & the XK Driver's Handbook). See lower section of screen.
Click on the document you want to view.
The XK Vehicle Care Handbook document has 6 separate sections you can download.
The XK Driver's Handbook document has 9 separate sections you can download.
I downloaded XK Driver's Hankbook (all of the 9 sections) and combined all the sections in one PDF.
See post# 9 in this thread to download the combined PDF file (2202 XK Owner Manual.PDF).

Thank you h20boy for putting the 2002 Vehicle Care Handbook PDF into the FAQ sticky thread and on the mediafire website.
The weblink for the download of a copy of the driver's manual in the XK FAQ, also brings up a blank page.
My posting number 14 in this thread shows the corrected weblink (http://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topix/vehicle/lookupForm) and the instructions on how to go through the model/document selection on the topix website.
While I was checking out the Vehicle Care Handbook link in the FAQ thread, I noticed the problem with the driver manual link.

I got this one as soon as I bought the car - looks pretty comprehensive to my (utterly non-technical) eyes, and it arrived in a couple of days.
