p0303 code, which cylinder?
This is my first post so apologies if I mess it up. I have a 97 xk8 convertible that I recently changed the cooling tower and thermostat housing on and now I am getting a poor performance warning and codes p0303 and p1316. I know I lost some coolant on the motor so suspect I have moisture on a coil or plug well maybe? My code reader says 303 is a misfire on cylinder 3, 3rd from the front on passenger side, but I have a jaguar manual from 1999 on cd that says a 303 code is a misfire on cylinder 5, front cylinder on driver's side, which seems far more likely given the cooling system work. Any clarity on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
