Default P0327 Knock sensor check

On first start up after being off the road for a month for a suspension rebuild I have knock sensor code P0327 and 'restricted performance'. I've cleared the code twice but it comes back again.
What I'd like to know is whether the knock sensors can be checked or is it just a case of having to buy and fit a new one? And if anyone has any other thoughts I'd be grateful to hear them.
Thanks a lot in advance.

I've been doing some hunting for new ones and have found that S type ones are less than half the price of the XK8 ones yet both cars use the same V8 engine and in the photos the sensors look the same. As they're only £20 I might replace them both.

They are easy enough to replace on a non supercharged car and available on Ebay for about $27 each, I would go ahead and replace both.

FYI, failure of the knock sensors is "usually" caused by them getting soaked in coolant from a leak or water if you choose to "wash" the engine.
