P0328 Knock sensor
Hi all.
I've been chasing this code for all of this spring now and finally bit the bullet and replaced the sensor. Sometimes I would get restricted performance but no CEL. Others, the CEL would light immediately.
For the info of others who may encounter it, I thought it was an electrical connection so I cleaned the connections and crimped them a bit but when I established that it threw whenever the engine got fully hot then decelerated, that looked more like the sensor to me.
Took 80 kms of driving to get all the other systems to reset in order to get my pass with the MVB. It's hard to find a place where you can drive for 5 mins at 60 to 85 k then slow to a stop without using brakes.
Not only are there no more codes, I've noticed a power increase since the old sensor was causing a retarded ignition. FYI

Did you replace the passenger side sensor? What year is your car? I replaced my drivers side, but the pass side hits a rib on the intake manifold and I can't get it off the stud. I also noticed more engine response with the one replacement sensor. Good for you on your fix.
