My name is Daniel Senn from Switzerland and I am new to this forum.
I bought a 2001/XK8 Convertible from the US which I imported to Switzerland this year.
Like many others I have the P0455 code and I read a lot about it in this forum.
Supplementary to others People experiences I realized that the "Check Gas Cap" fault occurs very often when I drive in a Tunnel (Changed outside Pressure?)

I assume there is somewhere in the EVAP System a pressure-sensor. But where is this sensor that detect the pressure-loss?

Do you ever feel the smell of gas inside the car?

 

No smell in the car, but i have to say most of the time i drive it open.
