Default P1222 but cleared - should I investigate further?

Started up after a long layup (had battery tender connected throughout). Started first time with no issues until had been idling for about 5 mins when dropped into fail safe mode with code P1222.
Didn't clear after a couple of restarts but I cleared the code with my wired in OBD reader while the engine was running and instantly warning lights went off and normal engine power restored. Drove fine for a 1/2 mile home and parked up.

I've read the threads on peddle sensors etc but as this went away just by clearing the code I'm wondering whether any further investigation is needed?

I would drive the car on a regular basis for the next couple of weeks and just monitor its behavior. These cars stay much happier and healthier when driven regularly....

Sounds good advice
I agree completely. Sadly what with lockdowns, family illness and being surrounded by roadworks on every side getting out has been a nightmare!
