Default P1226 code throttle body

I get this any time I drive 65+ or drive for more than hr at various speeds. I know the code ref but does a TB rebuild solve the issue or only a new TB gets rid of it,
Is the spring weak or are the TPS ( contacting sensors) that are worn,
I believe the origonal TB is a Denso assembly ,any one know who made the sensors on it ?

I havev 20+ years in automotive engineering (CTS/VDO/Continental) on power train sensors and TB so just need some info to avoid a complete replacement
Cheers

I saw a TPS replacement unit on ebay tonite - searching under ( xk8 -led ) and ran across it - was wondering if it was a bolt-on replacement for the sensor only - vs the entire assembly.

sorry, perhaps I misunderstood you - as I had just been looking at the actual sensors, instead of the lump of alu ...

I found the sensors also on ebay but they are quite costly so was considering just to buy a complete used TB , but I will keep looking

I'm no expert but it is my understanding that the sensors on the TB can't be replaced.
