So today I was stuck in traffic in the rain just scooting along when I go to give it gas and it basically goes nowhere..I look down..RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE!!!!!

I pull to side of road and thats when I checked codes. P1229.

Now when I come to think of it every so often it would feel as though I stepped on the gas and the car just didnt go anywhere and then stepped on it again and it would.

So Im liek screw it Ill limp home. While limping I cleared codes and the car woke up again and accelerated....THEN..Restricted performance almost immediatley.

Checked wires to TB..all looked well nothing made a difference...So I shut car off for 5 minutes..Started back up. Been fine all day

I find this weird....So from what I read can be TB motor. Seems to make sence being I had been experiencing that loss of throttle here and there.

What do you all think?> MAF was cleaned a few weeks back

Ive read just about everything on this issue. Just want some feedback..Nothing like getting stuck ....Of spending monmey on things that wont fix an issue. I cleaned all the plugs and adjusted my cable..All SEEMS well.....
