My xkr, 2000 crashed from the neutral drive and recaptured the transmission when the speed dropped to about 40 km / h. I have fault P1727( coast clutch solenoid)

Welcome to the forum brijacsinj,

I've merged your two posts on this topic into one thread.

The Jaguar transmission control system fault code lookup only gives the following explanation for P1727:

All that shows is the n3 speed sensor has detected an overspeed situation and gives the possible cause as mechanical failure. I hope other members can tell you more about this.

Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. Hopefully someone with experience of this can help, in the meantime its worth noting that the 4.0 XKR gearbox is a Mercedes-Benz unit, the 722.6 (also known as the Mercedes 5G-Tronic, W5A580 and the NAG1 in Chrysler applications).

There is a huge amount of information on the internet about this gearbox in all its forms, and I am sure if you google "n3 speed sensor" with those gearbox names you will find possible causes and fixes.

Good luck.
