Default Pandora is being a hardass

I noticed that the ride seemed kinda harsh, so I pushed down on the corners of the car to check shocks/springing. Fronts were fine, but the rear barely moved with my full weight. My guess is bushings?
Any other thoughts?

The rear end of my ‘02 XKR does
not push down as easy as the front either. By itself, that does not indicate a fault. My car handles well for a 4,000 + lb car. At high speeds the rear springs and shocks seem very compliant to road conditions and give a firm GT ride. I wouldn’t want it to be more soft.

The front of the car has the weight of the engine “helping” you press down. In comparison the rear is pretty light.

I thought at rest CATS were in firm mode so you wouldn't expect to bounce the rear end.

Bushings are not the issue. Most likely, what you have is normal. Even if the bushes were welded to the frame, the shocks would still go up and down.
