After a lot of searching, I have found a system that has the seamless imaging and recording capabilities. I have the link saved on my laptop back at the construction site, so when I return to site from Cusco this Wednesday, I will post it here for you to have a look at. The only problem with all these systems is that the side cameras are the type where you have to drill an 18mm hole in the side mirror housing to mount the camera. I have found separate cameras with adhesive mountings that would probably work. I will also post the link for these this Wednesday.


Basically I have sourced all I need to do the installation, so I am just holding off from ordering everything for the next 2 weeks as I will only be home in a months time and have to get the delivery timing right for just as I arrive home from Peru.


I have also found a few slim monitors available that will work well with the sun visor mounting. I just want to get home first to have a good look at the visor with regards to available space and best mounting location, before I go ahead and order. I might even consider tossing out the complete mirror housing and fitting the monitor in it's place, provided I don't have to hack anything to achieve this.

 

As promised, here are the links to the two camera sytems I mentioned. Both seem much of a muchness. At this stage I am leaning more towards the Zenith system, it just seems a slightly better system from what I read.

I have also attached the link for a 5" monitor that might fit on or in the sun visor, but as mentioned earlier, I first need to get home to check the actual size before I order.
