Default Parking assist speaker location '06 XKR X100 Conv

My parking assist is not working. I know there are three main components-the sensors in the rear bumper, the Parking assist module and the speaker. I found the module in the fuse box in the trunk. And, I have been advised that the speaker is in the rear tray behind the backseat. But, there is no rear tray in a convertible.

There appears to be a speaker grill in the end of the right rear passenger side top trim piece. It would be just behind the right ear of a passenger in the front seat. There is not a matching speaker grill in the same location on the driver's side. And there is no sound coming from the speaker when the radio is on.

Can anyone tell me where the parking assist warning speaker is on a '06 XKR cconvertible? OR, what is this potential speaker for?

Thanks
Steve

Can be found in the rear panel of the centre console. Unclips with a bit of force no tools required other than strong fingers.

The one behind the passenger seat is an occupancy sensor similar to the one in the A-pillar.

The one you want is under the rear of the console as explained. Just reach under the back edge and pull up firmly. It will pop off.

Strong clips on the cover:

Easily removed using a trim tool with the ends wrapped in electrician's tape unless you especially like broken finger nails.
