Hi,
I installed my new led hi beams and 'lost my left front parking lights. Is there a separate fuse for them and if so, where?

It is really hard to help when we don't know what you are working on. It makes a difference.

Wj, if you ask if there is a fuse for the one bulb, I think you can assume that no there is not. We may get confused, can you please say exactly which bulb(s) are not working? (Fender, yellowbulb in headlight assembly, other)?

If 1 bulb, have you checked for voltage with a meter? Stranger things have happened than a bulb burning out right at the same time as your job got finished.

sorry everyone, it is a 2005 xk8.
I installed LED Hi- (main) beams and reassembled the hl assemblies. I have read so many possible issues when fitting these bulbs to non hid assemblies that I plugged in the left side first. I noticed that both the hl assembly parking light and the front side light do not work. The hi and low do. I have not plugged in the right side because If I've caused a problem I don't want to increase my repair time.
I haven't checked for continuity but given that they worked prior to the led install I'm at a loss.

Ok this might sound crazy, but let's eliminate the easy stuff 1st. Did you cycle ignition on off on a couple of times? Long shot but both ( or more) times I've resoldered electrical connection at the turn signal it took at least two on off on cycles for all headlight/ parking lights to function properly. Not kidding.

From your test: may we assume the right side works normally?

I found the parking light bulbs on the left side were both bad, the outside housing cracked which let water enter and 'rot' the electrical connectors.
but the most fun was installing the led hi beam, buttoning everything up and discovering that there were additional 'adaptors' nicely packaged within the box...without any reference to them either in the instructions or online.
So...undo everything and do it again!
The Hi Beams are bright but somehow they don't penetrate deep into the darkness as my 100 watt H4s did (old MB 450SE).

Still, much better than the original 9005 bulbs.

Wow, just when you think you've seen it all. Thanks for the follow up WJ.
