I don't even know what it's called, but it is a hollow plastic piece that fits over the pushbuttons that open and close the windows. The piece I lost is for the driver side control of the passenger window.

I'd like to just mail order it and install it myself, mostly to save time.

These subcomponents just aren't available separately. Jaguar will only sell you the whole switchpack.
It is available new, but expensive at over $100 and special order from SNG Barratt. (Heritage lists them cheaper but shipping may negate that)

I would try to source a replacement from a breaker, or someone who is parting a car out. You can then either replace the whole item, or try to swop just the button itself, in which case I suspect one from a passenger side switch will be identical.
