I have a couple of issues with the passenger seat module in a 2002 xkr.

Someone had stuck it back under the seat with velcro. I am able to correctly install with the 10mm nuts, but I noticed it has three plugs in the back, and only the left and right are used. The center is empty? The module is also has a date of 2004 on it. I guess it was replaced.

The drivers side module uses all three plugs (by the way, it was zip tied in, someone had broke it removing it and I am in the process of fixing it so it bolts back).

Also, as mentioned in an earlier post, the headrest does not go up and down, but you can hear the motor. Any ideas?

Hey dan, the headrests are classic symptoms of the cable sheath being too long. Go to the faq page in this subforum, and find the link to pics, threads, and the reverend sam made a video also, for your viewing pleasure. We've all done the headrests.

 

The seat module lids are available from the dealer and inexpensive (see attached TSB).

I also attached the headrest TSB.
