Anyone know what might cause this? I have ordered a replacement set (L&R), but don't want it to happen again. Seems strange that it is almost a uniformly square tear.
I had similar a few years ago. I suspect it's just old age where the rubber develops a weak spot and, once there is an initial flaw, it just gets worse.
