Reggie here in the DFW area. Happily ridin' around in Jazmine...2003 XK8. Need to replace her PCV valve. What should I expect for parts and labor?

Going to have Jim's Jag Shop do the work. Nice fella!

 

Something smells fishy. This car does not have a PCV valve.

 

SOO glad I didn't let the guy telling me that work on her. Just left her with Jim's Jag Shop.....

 

Actually, it does. It's called the Crankcase Vent Valve. Item #AJ87773 Around $50.00 Located in the top of the right bank cover towards the front. Looks like a mushroom.

 

Good news is that Jim will do right by you. Just got my air fixed there. Take your checkbook or cash. No credit cards.

I think it was introduced with the 4.2 engine models. There earlier models just have breathers.
