Default Pentosin Weight?

I'm installing the new convertible latch pressure lines this weekend and need to order up some Pentosin.

O'Reilly's tells me that they have two weights in stock - does anyone know the correct weight?

Thanks!

I've never seen a "weight" designation used with Pentosin fluids. You need Pentosin CHF11S fluid, it has a viscosity index of 313. There is also a Pentosin CHF202 that is common in power steering systems, it has a viscosity index of 302.

I don't know if that helps or not???

Cheers,

Pentosin also has the older CHF7 for older Audi cars etc. but it is not the synthetic CHF11S that is recommended for your car.

Here is the TSB we got when the UNIVIS fluid started to fail.

I did this procedure several times a week here in Texas because of the high ambient temps destroying the old fluid.

bob gauff

P.S. I still have some of the OLD UNIVIS fluid if anyone wants to go back to the ORIGINAL fluid!!!
