phone address book problem
I have a 1999 XKR Coupe which I purchased about 6 months ago. It has a Startac 130 phone that accepts my Australian 3G SIM card and works fine in terms of dialling out and receiving calls. However the phone address book on the stereo dash display does not reflect what's on the SIM card. It seems to have about 20% of my SIM contacts plus a few that I don't have at all ... perhaps the previous vehicle owner's??
I have downloaded the Startac's instruction manual to see if it was a problem with contacts being stored on the phone memory instead of the SIM card memory, but that didn't lead anywhere. It's almost as if the vehicle itself needs to have it's phone memory wiped.
HELP!!

Wow...not many people still using the 'vintage' Startac.
I have attached the relevant Jaguar phone manual section. You probably need to clear out the old numbers in memory to make room.

Did a Master Clear of the phone and it's all fixed... really appreciated your help.
I have another problem with the radio but I will post it as a separate thread.
