Early this summer while picking parts off two XK8's at a junkyard I grabbed a couple of nice interior A pillar covers that had less wrinkles than mine.
Of course I neglected to notice the passenger side didn't have the hole for the airbag sensor and I kind of mucked up cutting a correct hole....new one can't be saved.
So back to the originals. Ive got them both down to a smooth surface ready to cover.
Just wondering.....Has anyone done a faux walnut finish or wrap?
I'll try again fabric wrap if no better option but would like to explore some options.

Just something to pass the winter!!!!!
that looks like the weather I drove 400 miles in (homeward bound) when I purchased my XKR about 8 years ago on a Jan 2nd.
I had the Iowa seller drive me over to WalMart where I purchased three 50 lb bags of sand to give the boot some ballast. Those and a few hail Mary’s got me home safely
