Default "A" Pillar refurbishment

Hello all

I had a replacement headliner golden oatmeal finish put in but I noticed that the A pillars were sagging.

I took them out and removed the fabric and cleaned off the glue with a view to getting new fabric to retrim them.

But there was a back of leather tan finish on them so I cleaned them up and put them back on...

It looks brilliant...

Does anyone know of an original factory option of this back leather type finish for a 1999 XKR Coupe A pillars?

It does not look like something that the fabric would be just glued to.

I will try to send a photo.

Thanks

Steve

Looks fantastic Rothwell ! 😀👍you obviously have a lot of skill and patience there. Particularly like the walnut finished light console, stunning 👍

My DIY abilities are very limited at best, the only thing left to do is retrim the parcel shelf which has gone bobbly. The original fabric is hard to come by, so I might try a dark tan suede to match the pillars.

Kind regards dude

Smitty 👍
