I was wondering if anyone knows if a Pioneer AVH-P5200DVD In-Dash Multimedia AV Receiver will work in my 99 XK8 before I purchase. The physical size seems OK but not sure if the wiring will all work? It comes with the navi accessories. Also can I still have my CD changer operable? thanks in advance,

 

According to the Crutchfield website, you will have to splice into the car's audio cables. Also, note that navigation is an add-on module.

The Alpine CD-changer will not work..you would need to buy a Pioneer if you still want a changer.

Can I ask exactly what kind of upgrade you are looking to do? In your other post, you said you just wanted to get rid of dangling GPS cables. If that is your main goal, a Kuda mount and permanently wiring in the power will accomplish that for a lot less cost and complexity.

 

It was suggested in my last thread that I look at the Pioneer avic and in checking I came accross the AVH. I want something that looks more factory that my GPS and also the AVH will have more gagets LOL
