Default Please, need help - Transmission Cut-out

Need some help! Driving my 2003 XKR steady about 40 mph when it lurched (bucked) for a split second. Kept going, about a minute later did the same thing, Acted like just turned the key off for a second. Noticed the Speedometer needle dropped like no power and then came back when car kicked back in. Then Transmission fault light came on. Pulled over, turned car off for a minute, restarted drove home fine, no fault light. Is there some speed sensor that is going back or perhaps a throttle position sensor?
Ran codes but showed normal on OBDII.
Would appreciate any thoughts before I go to shop.
Thanks, David
2003 XKR

My first thought is a crank position sensor or throttle position sensor (as you thought)failing. Pull the codes to see if there are any hiding in there. If the ignition quit for a second, something may have logged.

sounds familiar, like a recent thread of similar symptoms...can't place it though. IIRC, I mentioned throttle body...lets see if I can search my own posts...

It is from an earlier car, but lots of the electronics are similar, though the engine is previous gen and transmission is different.
