Default Power antenna relay location

My power antenna doesn’t seem to be getting any power. I removed the unit and when I apply 12 v it works but nothing happens in the car.
Can anyone provoked me with the relay location ?
I already checked fuse #9 in the trunk box and it’s fine.

What make, model? I will take a look but I don't remember a relay involved. The radio head activates the antenna.

According to my 2002 XK8/XKR electrical guide Fig 16.1 or Fig 16.2 (I think also covers 2000 & 2001) , I do not see a related relay. The motor unit has 3 wires coming out of it:
  • Wire NG (brown green) goes to "Boxed in 57" (this is the 10 amp fuse #9 for 12VDC ,this lead is "HOT" at the motor unit whenever the key is on regardless of key position, provided the fuse is not blown)
  • Wire GB (green black) goes to the Radio/Cassette Head unit (This is the wire that some, including me, have cut and run an inline hidden Antenna Defeat switch, I question if possibly you have such a switch installed by a previous owner and it just accidentally got switched.
  • Wire B (black) goes to ground.
Hope this helps.

yes thanks very helpful. I found the wiring diagram last night as well and sorted out that there is not relay. Fuse is good so I am not getting the signal from the head unit or have a bad ground. The owner was not the type to work on anything so no switch I’m fairly certain.
