Power steering Leak
So I came out to the car on Friday to see a puddle of steering fluid under the car, nursed it home and jacked it up to see where the leak came from. It appears to be coming from the steering pump, I poured some fluid in the reservoir and without even starting the car it started leaking from the bottom of the pump. So best guess is a new pump, any suggestions of where to get one, NAPA doesn't have one, and autozone has one but doesn't have the hose from the reservoir to the pump, and I can't seem to get it off without damaging the hose. RockAuto has three different ones ranging form $100-150, the acdelco brand is the one for $150 and the one for $100 is BBB Industries, anybody have any suggestions if these are any good?
For what it is worthy, my 2001 XKR had a steering fluid leak. Kept adding fluid every other day. Then it got worse. I knelt down in front of car and had wife start it (I am brave). Then I asked her to turn the steering wheel to left and right and immediately witnessed the leak in one of the hoses. Took car to my local mechanic (who works for cash). Bought replacement USED steering pump on eBay for $40, and complete NEW hose set (these are high pressure hoses). $600 cash later it is all fixed. Never worked better. Tracks beautifully (again).

Having the same problem.
I am considering buying a recycled/refurb pump from eBay. Not sure if I need to change the hoes as all leak is directly from the lower aspect of the pump where the pully is. Hope I can salvage the old hoes as this car is really fragile and any plastic thing I touch (Even most gently) breaks!
btw anyone knows a good DIY video clip for the replacement of the power steering in XK8? (Mine is 1999).

Check our forum sponsors and also Rock Auto. They often have remanufactured pumps for around $100 plus core charge, tax and shipping. You'll get the core charge back when you return your old pump, less the cost of return shipping.
Regarding the hoses, it is good practice to replace at least the high pressure hose from the pump to the rack, since you will have to disconnect the end at the pump anyway. Also consider replacing the hose from the reservoir to the pump, since it commonly hardens over time due to its proximity to the exhaust and loses its ability to seal on the reservoir and pump fittings.
Cheers,
Don

I have had to replace a few pumps due to the shaft moving 'in&out' of the housing and leaking all the fluid.(pump pulley fore/aft observed with engine running)
A 'good-used' or 'parts-store' replacement is the way to go.
