Could someone please post a diagram of the power steering of a 1999
XK8. I have one serious leak and two smaller ones. I realy hate to put the car up on jack stands before I understand the system. If any one knows where they usually leak, or any other information I would be gratefull.

Martin, you get that very same diagram (un-touched/dimmed) in the Parts Diagram files at the top of this subform, in the FAQ sticky. Lots of good system drawings in them.

 

Is there a kit to rebuild the cylinder/gear? Has anyone had luck finding generic hoses or even a place that custom makes hoses? I'm not getting much response. Maybe the power steering is a realiable part of the car. What a change!
