Default Powerflex Bushings Design Issue

Those who have followed my rear subframe refurbishment in that thread have seen that I ran into issues with the differential strut bushings from Powerflex, part PFR27-209. The flanges on these bushings are too thick to fit in the seat on the chassis, which Powerflex have agreed is the case based on dimensions and photos I sent them. Although their response time in the dialogue hasn't always been ideal, they owned up to the error and have offered to make an adjustment to a set they have in stock in the UK and expedite the shipping to me, presumably without charge. I understand they will make new molds for future batches.
It's worth mentioning that I had no trouble with any of the other bushings from them (I had ordered the full rear subframe range).

Posting this in case others are contemplating a rear poly upgrade sometime soon, in which case I recommend you confirm that the strut bushings have either been corrected for flange thickness, or are from a batch of the revised design.

Thanks for your update. This is the first fitment issue with Powerflex bushings that I can remember being posted here on the forum....

Happy to confirm that I received the new bushings at no charge to me, and they fit perfectly!

You don't list your car details in your profile, but this is something I added to my XKR when I upgraded to powerflex bushings. You can go on the Ultra Racing site as they also have a front brace.

I think the convert already has additional bracing in the rear and the front upper strut bar doesn't fit on the 04> 4.2.

Strange, you don't see the details listed in my signature and profile? It's a 2004 XKR Convertible. And yes, it already has braces very similar to the ebay listing you linked to, expect it doesn't have the lateral member.
