Hi guys

I have the premium system (amp, alpine component speakers and sub) in my 2005 xkr. Does anyone know what the size of the big sub in the middle of the rear parcel-shelf is, and if so, what the specs are? Im thinking it is around 8 inches, correct?

I am thinking of upgrading to a newer, more powerful Pioneer, and wanted to know the correct size before I order it, and whether the factory Alpine amp will work with it (in terms of Ohms, power etc). I presume as the back end of the sub floats in the bootspace, there shouldnt be any problem with depth of my new sub?

The size is a little odd as it not quite 8" and height is the limitation. If your new sub is too tall there will be interference with the fuel tank.

I've been thinking about this myself, and would be interested to know what sub you end up using.
