Anyone know how to program garage door opener on 2006 XK8 without hand held remote opener? Have misplaced mine cause other cars are programmed.
All help appreciated for this newbie.

 

Howdy Folks:
I have a Genie Excelerator door opener which has a "learn" pushbutton and indicator lamp on the drive unit that does not require the hand held transmitter. I would think that other openers maybe similar.
For mine:
Press and release Learn button. Red learn indicator will blink 2 times per second.
Press remote button once within 30 seconds. Red Learn indicator will stay lit (constantly).
Press remote button once again. Red Learn indicator will go out, indicating that memory is stored.
